It’s the 10th Anniversary of the Rebelle Rally and the 20th Anniversary of AskPatty.com!
The Rebelle Rally is the first, and only, women’s off-road navigation rally raid in the United States. The 8-day competition blends off-road driving with navigation challenges as teams move through the deserts of the southwest using only a map and compass to navigate. The Rebelle is not a race for speed, but a unique and demanding event that requires teams to be able to find hidden and unmarked checkpoints, complete time and distance roadbook segments and pit their wits and stamina against the harsh desert environment. MEET THE TEAM
Jody DeVere, Charlene Bower, and “Frankie”
Jody DeVere and Charlene Bower are a powerhouse duo united by their passion for empowering women in the automotive and offroad industries. Their friendship, forged through SEMA pre-2009, has been fueled by a shared drive to champion female leadership and adventure.
Charlene made Rebelle Rally history in 2016 as the inaugural champion, conquering the challenge alongside her trusty Jeep JK, “Frankie.” Now, as the Rebelle Rally celebrates its milestone 10th year, she and Frankie return to the competition – ready to prove once again why they’re a force to be reckoned with.
Jody, a dedicated Rebelle Rally staff member for nine years, is stepping into a new role this year: Competitor. After years of supporting Rebelles behind the scenes, she’s embracing the challenge of navigation and endurance firsthand.

Charlene Bower
Rebelle Champion. Off-Road Maven. Trailblazer.
Charlene Bower isn’t just competing in the Rebelle Rally – she’s part of its history. As the inaugural champion of 2016 rally, (with her trusty Jeep JK “Frankie”), she proved that skill, strategy, and sheer determination can conquer the desert. Now, she’s back for the 10th anniversary, ready to add another chapter to her legendary Rebelle story.
By day, she’s a powerhouse in the offroad industry working in different roles for over 31 years including advocating for women through Ladies Offroad Network. She’s a force of nature educating offroaders and applies it – navigating dunes with precision, pushing limits, and proving that the best routes are off pavement.

As the award-winning CEO of AskPatty.com, Jody DeVere has spent 20+ years revolutionizing the automotive industry – mentoring women, breaking barriers, and proving that the driver’s seat belongs to everyone. By day, she trains dealerships and automakers to win the women’s market. By weekend? You’ll find her scuba diving with sharks, rafting wild rivers, or camping in national parks – because pavement is optional.
After 9 years as Rebelle Rally staff, she’s trading her clipboard for a map and competing in the 10th anniversary rally. Her resume reads like an adventure novel: Industry disruptor. Scuba-diver. Desert navigator. Professional hype-woman.
Together, Jody and Charlene embody the spirit of the Rebelle: perseverance, teamwork, friendship, and the relentless pursuit of excellence and exploration. They both harness pushing their personal limits to the max.
Team Celebration isn’t just competing for victory; they’re competing to inspire. Whether on the course or cheering from the sidelines, they’re proof that ladies belong in the driver’s seat – of their rigs, their careers, and their destinies.
