My son’s first LA Auto Show 2025 came as a last-minute surprise over the Thanksgiving holiday. Ben asked, “Hey, Mom. Can I go to the LA Auto Show with my friends?” I answered. Yes, but first, can you help me change my windshield wipers?” As we waited for his ride, we worked on the wipers, which became a tricky task. We managed to change out one and started the second wiper blade, but we could not get it to release. His ride showed up and off he went and I went to my trusty mechanic to help me get the second wiper blade released and replaced with a new blade.

I got a TEXT later that day…

Ben sent me a photo of the new 2025 Bronco. He knows I have had my eye on this adventure vehicle for a while. I texted back. “Sweet Ride, send more pics,” He said. “I’ll show you all the photos when I get home” I ask if he can take pics of the camping vehicles and trucks but I think I was too late.

Ben got home and he was so excited to share all the details.

I was excited along with him and asked him to share all about his experience. Here is how it went from his perspective. ” The LA Auto Show 2025 was really cool. The main hall had tons of the new 2025 models of some of the most popular brands. The Toyota section was cool because they had their new 4runner surf which was awesome, they also had some souped-up Tacomas and 4 runners ready for off-roading. The Volkswagen section was also really cool because they were showing off the new 2025 Volkswagen Bus in a very interesting way, they were taking people on joy rides and showing off how well the bus handled turns at high speeds which may have been a concern with consumers. The bus handled exceptionally well and It was a really cool showing. We then checked out the huge Ford, GMC, and Chevy trucks. They were massive and I even struggled to get into them.

Next, we headed to the brand new Corvettes.

The ZR1 comes with a big 5.3 liter v8 twin turbo making a staggering 1064 horsepower, and claims to have a quarter mile time under 10 seconds. This makes the ZR1 the fastest car Chevy has ever produced. After the corvettes, we made our way over to the jeep off-roading exhibit.

The offroad course consisted of 6 different sections

showing how smooth and well the new jeeps handled them, while you rode through the course the driver was spewing off facts about the car so it was informative as well as fun. The best part was going up the steep ramp, we were almost completely vertical.

We left the main hall exhibit and went on over to the customs and personal vehicles.

The first room we went into was awesome, it had some super nice classics as well as some Mclarens, the highlights of that room were the fully carbon fiber KTM and the Ford GT. We then went over to the Porsche exhibit and checked out the 4 cars that had been featured in movies, the gt3rs was also another highlight from that room.

We then moved on over to the West Coast customs room where we saw tons of insane cars that had been commissioned by celebrities.

After that, we went over to the other big hall, and they had another off-roading course, this time for the Ford Bronco. We did not go on that one, however. We instead went to check out the huge camping display they had in that room. All the vehicles were decked out with tents, lifts, big tires, snorkels, and everything else you could want on an adventure vehicle. There also was an awesome Subaru WRX.

After that, we were a little burnt out and finished the day in the biggest room downstairs. It was kind of overwhelming how much there was in there. We liked the dirt bikes, and we sat on a couple. There was also a really nice boat. That room had countless custom cars—we couldn’t even see all of them—and also had tons of vendors. Wow, Ben! Thanks for sharing your exciting day and all the great photos from the LA Auto Show.
